Bhin Bhin is a bird of paradise ( Paradisaea Apoda ) representing strategy. Bhin Bhin wore a vest with Asmat motif from Papua.

Atung is a Bawean deer ( Hyelaphus Kuhlii ) that represents speed. Atung wearing a sarong with a tumpal motif from Jakarta.

Kaka is a one-horned rhinoceros ( Rhinoceros Sondaicus ) that represents strength. Kaka wearing traditional clothes with flower patterns typical of Palembang.

The soul of " Energy of Asia" lies in the diversity of cultures, languages and historical relics. When all these elements are united, this will be the main force that the world counts. With the value of diversity and unity that we introduce 3 mascots with different energies, representing the energy contained in the Asian Games.



First Training Session of Iran Delegation in Incheon



Iran delegation left the country on 27 Sep. and their first training session for 17th Asian Games was held on 27 Sep. in Incheon.

The male taekwondo athletes of Iran National team are:
Farzan Ashourzadeh, -58 kg, Behanam Asbaghi, -68 kg, Masoud Hajizavareh, -74 kg, Mahdi Khodabakhshi, -80 kg, Yousef Karami, -87 kg and Sajad Mardani, +87 kg.
Bijan Moghanlou accompanies the team as head coach and Mahdi Bibak and Mehrdad Yousefi as coaches.
And the female athletes are:
Sousan Hajipour, -53 kg, Samaneh Sheshpari, -57 kg, Kimia Alizadeh, -62 kg, Shokraneh Izadi, -67 kg, Fatemeh Rohani, -73 kg and Akram Khodabandeh, +73 kg.
The female athletes are under the supervision of Minoo Maddah as head coach and Parvaneh Tehrani as coach.
Taekwondo Competitions will begin on 30 Sep. in Incheon and last for 4 days.
